We're going to take a brief hiatus after this week until the summer shows get hopping, so we hope you don't miss us too badly!

Will our Nashville quote be the last we ever see, or will Lionsgate TV be successful in finding a new home for the canceled series? Will Awkward continue despite its (apparent premature) cancelation?

Superheroes went out...but was it with a bang? Not so much, if The Flash, Arrow, and Gotham fans were on target.

Check out all the quotes of this week, and we'll see you in a few more!

One last time nashville season 4 episode 21
Juliette: Why can't they just give out the damn award already? Why do they have to throw so many parties?

2. The Flash

Harry: Yeah, locking up Barry. That was the easy part. Using our plan to take down Zoom, without Barry, that will be the hard part.

3. Awkward

Reapplying to scu awkward
Matty: Do you ever shut up? Sadie: Huh?

4. Outlander

Saving claires life outlander
Claire: There's something else. I slept with the King. Jamie: You did it to save my life. Just like I slept with Randall to save you.

10 Spring TV Scenes We Need to See Again... and Again

There are times when one viewing of a particular moment of your favorite show is not enough.

Whether that moment was a complete shock, an exhilarating anticipation, or a tune that caught your ear, sometimes you need to watch it over and over again because it was incredibly awesome.

Our TV Fanatics picked some of their favorites. Do you agree? Check out the picks and hit the comments to share your favorite rewind-worthy moments!

1. Pretty Little Liars - Bell Tower Blues

Pretty little liars bell tower blues
The moment when Hanna was being dragged across the bell tower to meet the same fate as Charlotte. Or Ian, according to the Season 7 Trailer, where someone who looks a lot like Hanna is hanging, apparently dead. But Ian survived the fall, so it's possible Hanna might, too. A.D. is ready to take down these girls, and Hanna may be the first to suffer. We can't get over her body being dragged up the stairs!

2. Lucifer - Heaven and Hell Tickle the Ivories

Lucifer heaven and hell tickle the ivories
After enjoying drinks and conversation about their similarities and differences, Father Frank says he’s a better piano player than Lucifer. We all know that's not something the Devil is going to stand for. They head to the piano where Father Frank shows off his skills, and the two end up playing a riveting version of Ray Charles’ “Mess Around” that literally sent chills down our spine.

3. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - Silly Sex Songs

Crazy ex girlfriend silly sex songs
When Rebecca got a UTI from having too much sex with Greg, it resulted in an over-the-top hilarious song about UTIs that we rewound repeatedly. It's still stuck in our heads, actually.

4. Supergirl - Sister Power

Supergirl sister power
Alex's speech to Kara when Kara was infected by the spider-type alien was one of the most heart-warming/heart-breaking speeches ever. Chyler Leigh completely nailed it. We watched the scene many times, and may even have shed a tear or two.

5. American Horror Story: Hotel - Dinner Party Madness

American horror story hotel dinner party madness
When John was invited to James March’s annual Devil’s Night dinner party he got to meet the living ghosts of the world’s worst serial killers: Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Aileen Wuornos, Richard Ramirez, and the Zodiac Killer. It was the weirdest, yet most fascinating dinner party TV has ever seen,

6. Bates Motel - Romero's Rage

Bates motel romeros rage
Watching Alex Romero slam Norman up against the wall in the hospital after Norman was being all sassy on Bates Motel. It's too bad Romero couldn't spend an hour slamming the little brat.

21 Characters Who Are Just Jerks

$
0
0

They say art imitates life, and just like in real life there are jerks on TV too.

It doesn't matter if it's a man or a woman, because everyone on TV (and in real life) can be a jerk sometimes.

Some of these characters are jerks year-round, others only part time, and some may have made a bad choice one time, but it made them look like a jerk anyway.

Check out our list of jerks below and see if you agree with our picks!

1. Louis Litt - Suits

Louis suits
Louis is the epitome of selfish and arrogant. He's a know-it-all who hates everybody. He’s the leader of the "woe is me" club and thinks no one likes him. He's right. They don't, and we don’t. He truly is the Moby Dick of all jerks.

2. Lucious Lyon - Empire

Lucious lyon empire
From the very beginning Lucious has shown how much of a jerk he can be. Not only is he controlling and selfish, he’s arrogant and extraordinarily mean. He loves to play favorites with his kids, and then turn on them in a flash.

He lies whenever necessary, and will leave people in a lurch if it suits him. He’s horrible to women and has betrayed everyone around him at one time or another, and we’ve only just finished Season 2! As hard as we tried, there's not much to like about this jerk.

3. Corky Corcoran - The Night Manager

Corky the night manager
Corky was suspicious of Jonathan Pine the minute he showed up to save Danny from kidnappers, and he let Pine know it in some not so nice words and ways throughout the entire series.

But, his jerkiest moment was when he got drunk at lunch and made the biggest scene ever when he verbally attacked a waiter, made a snarky toast to Jed, grabbed Pine’s butt, and called his boss an idiot.

Tom Hollander took the word “jerk” to new levels with this outstanding performance.

4. Black Jack Randall - Outlander

Black jack randall outlander
Jerk might actually be a compliment for this jerk since he may possibly be the worst of the worst. There aren’t enough words to describe how much we loathe this guy. He’s arrogant, sadistic, and absolutely despicable. He’s done unspeakable things to both children and adults and is a menace to society.

5. Felicity Smoak - Arrow

Felicity smoak arrow
Sure Felicity is a fan favorite, but that doesn’t mean she’s not immune to being a jerk sometimes. When she found out Oliver had a son, she wasn’t very sympathetic, not because of William, but because Oliver never told her about the boy. It didn’t matter that it wasn’t Oliver’s choice not to tell her, she still ended her relationship with him anyway.

Her biggest jerk moment of this whole scenario came during a later episode when she told Dig that he was “one illegitimate child away from a really awesome Oliver Queen impersonation.”

Really, Felicity? Being a jerk is not your style, but that was a pretty jerky thing for you to say.

6. Marnie Michaels - Girls

Marnie michaels girls
How much of a jerk is Marnie? Let us count the ways: She’s judgemental. She’s a phony. She uses people. She’s a control freak. She’s two-faced. She's annoying. She’s arrogant. She's horrible. Need we say more?

13 Characters Who Simply Don't Have a Clue

$

Watching TV is supposed to be fun, but not everyone on TV is fun to watch!

There are some characters who are so annoyingly stupid, all we want to do is tear out our hair every time they're on screen!

Wouldn't it be great if we could send these characters to a galaxy far, far away, never to see them again?

Here's our list of who we'd send to outer space in a flash!

1. Penelope - Criminal Minds

Penelope criminal minds
There is no doubt Penelope is good at what she does, but she has no clue on how to control her emotions when it comes to cases. Not only is it unprofessional, it’s annoying. She’d be better off taking her flamboyant self and style to a different galaxy.

2. Prince Charles - Outlander

Prince charles outlander
Mark me, there is no bigger idiot on television than Bonnie Prince Charles. This guy is so wrapped up in himself and his mission to restore the throne to his father that he doesn’t think straight. He’s a danger to himself and everyone around him. The best thing for everyone is to send him away for good.

3. Chick - Bates Motel

Chick bates motel
Chick has always been a little on the off side, always lurking around the corner somewhere, creeping around like the weirdo he is. When he visited Norman after Norma's tragic death, he had no idea what he stepped into. For everyone's sake, Chick needs to be sent far away and FAST!

4. Kendra - DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Kendra dcs legends of tomorrow
Throughout the entire season, Kendra had been nothing but a drag. She didn’t know which way was up or down, and her constant back-and-forth with Ray made our heads hurt. Her refusal to kill Vandal Savage, no matter the reason, solidified her idiot status. Even though she decided to leave the team, there’s no harm in sending her far, far away just to be sure she never returns.

5. Andre - Empire

Andre empire
We all know Andre has a lot of problems, but he keeps making stupid decisions at every turn. Recently, he brought his crazy grandmother into the family. Then, he scoffed at his wife when she accused Anika of pushing her down the stairs. There’s no real solution for continuous idiotic behavior other than putting him on spaceship and sending him away.

6. Barbara - Gotham

Barbara gotham
Gotham tried to improve the Barbara Kean of Season 1 by making her evil in Season 2, but the only evil thing about her is her annoying personality. There are only so many times we can watch her wield a knife around like a crazy person or sniff around Jim like a rejected dog. The best thing to do is send her off to space to end her pain.

19 Characters We Want at Our Summer Pool Party!!

Let's get this party started!

There's nothing better than a cool pool party on a hot summer day. Better yet is when your pool party is filled with good food, good drink, and good music topped with a whole lot of fun people.

Each of these characters below would add their own brand of fun to any party, and we think they'd be a blast at ours!

Who would you invite? Hit the comments and let us know.

1. Dany - Game of Thrones

Dany game of thrones
Dany is one determined girl, and if she wants to have a good time, she's going to have a good time! How can she not have a good time at this party? Hopefully she'll bring a dragon or two to help start up the grill!

2. Castle - Castle

Castle castle
Any guy who dresses up as Elvis for a friend’s bachelor party is definitely someone we want to have at our party. He might be the goofiest of the bunch, but he sure knows how to have a good time. Added bonus: you know he’ll bring Beckett (but hopefully not the kids!)

3. Sara Lance - DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Sara lance dcs legends of tomorrow
Underneath all that sexy badassness is a chick who likes to party. Not only will she drink you under the table, she'll blow you away on the dance floor. And, you can be sure if someone starts misbehaving, she'll be the first one to put them in their place.

4. Dr. Bull - Bull

Dr bull bull
There's nothing wrong with having a good doctor around, especially one that can dispense some great advice. There certainly are some people here that need it. And while we know the picture is of Dr. Bull when he used to be Special Agent DiNozzo, there is no doubt that this new persona is going to be just as fun as the old.

5. Dean - Supernatural

Dean winchester supernatural
No party would be complete without Dean Winchester. Not only would he crank up some good tunes, he’d make sure the hamburgers were cooked just right, and he might just show us the right way to play air guitar.

6. Baz - Animal Kingdom

Baz animal kingdom
Actually any of the Cody brothers would be fine at our party, but Baz is our favorite. While he likes to have a good time, he has a tendency not to take it too far, and we’ll definitely need some sensibility with this cast of characters.

The '90s was great for many things - fashion, music, movies, and most importantly, an incredible amount of small-screen talent.

They were Tiger Beat gorgeous - all of them - but they had the ambition and skills to stick around and not fade into obscurity.

It's hard to believe how many amazing stars popped up over the decade, and still pop up on our televisions today!

If we've forgotten your favorite, feel free to add them in the comments below!

1. Mark Paul Gosselaar - Saved by the Bell

Mark paul gosselaar saved by the bell
Just as Ginny Baker had Mike Lawrence on her wall as a young girl, what girl didn't have Mark Paul Gosselaar on hers? Zack Morris had cool hair, a cool cell phone, and a killer band (ZACK ATTACK FOREVER)! He's never left TV, moving from Bayside to NYPD Blue to Franklin & Bash, and now crushing it as the aformentioned Mike Lawrence on Pitch.

2. Claire Danes - My So-Called Life

Claire danes my so called life
My So-Called Life may have been brief, but it showed the world that Claire Danes was a superstar in the making. She moved on to films before coming back to television to star on Homeland, a role which has earned her massive critical acclaim once again. If only Angela Chase had known what she'd grow up to be!

3. Joshua Jackson - Dawson's Creek

Pacey witter
In the late '90s, Joshua Jackson stole Joey's (and everyone else's) heart. Fresh off his stint as Charlie in the Mighty Ducks movies, Jackson was already a heartthrob. And he'd still stealing our hearts in the present day on The Affair, but we had a hunch that greatness was in store for this guy!

4. Brandy - Moesha

Brandy moesha
Brandy was already a music star, but she gained a lot of acclaim as the titular character on Moesha, became a role model to teens everywhere, and showing that she had staying power. After a bit of a hiatus from the spotlight, Brandy returned to television as a judge on America's Got Talent, and starred and produced Zoe Ever After, but we're holding out hope that she'll pop on Being Mary Jane! (Wouldn't THAT be amazing?!)

5. Fred Savage - The Wonder Years

Fred savage the wonder years
Fred Savage adorned the walls of many teenage girls' walls in the early '90s for his role as Kevin Arnold on The Wonder Years, a coming of age show about a boy in the '60s and '70s. While he spent many years behind the camera directing, he returned to our televisions to star as Stuart Sanderson on The Grinder.

6. Candace Cameron - Full House

Candace cameron full house
What teenage girl didn't look up to DJ Tanner in the early '90s? She was a model student, had a super cool wardrobe, and a hottie for a boyfriend! Candace Cameron was equally as cool, and we couldn't help but idolize her. In present day, she's sharing her opinions on everything from politics to kitchen care on The View, and reprising the role of DJ Tanner on Fuller House.

Fox Cheat Sheet: What Will Be Canceled?

Fox has a lot of difficult decisions to make as the network has a lot of marginally performing shows.

Only two of Fox's shows are up in the ratings vs. the 2015-2016 season, and the ones that are down, are down a lot.

Rosewood collapsed in its move to Thursday nights and that did nothing to help Pitch.

Scream Queens is getting quieter by the week.

It's worth noting, when considering these figures, that Fox is currently averaging a 1.33 rating among adults 18-49 with original programming.

If you want to see how the other networks are stacking up, we have separate posts for The CW, ABC, NBC and CBS.

Note: 24: Legacy, APB, The Mick, Kicking and Screaming, Prison Break, Shots Fired, Star, Sleepy Hollow and Making History are on tap for mid-season.

1. Empire - Certain Renewal

Empire certain renewal
Empire is down almost 20 percent in Season 3, but it is still the number one show on Fox by a long way. Season 3 is averaging 9.8 million viewers and a 3.7 rating among adults 18-49. The show catapults double digits in delayed viewing, so it will be on the air for another few years.

2. The Simpsons - Certain Renewal

The simpsons certain renewal
Thanks to multiple NFL overruns, The Simpsons is up almost 20 percent to 4.7 million viewers and a 2.0 rating. This one is not going anywhere.

3. Lethal Weapon - Certain Renewal

Lethal weapon certain renewal
Lethal Weapon has been a surprising success for Fox. It is averaging 7.1 million viewers and a 1.9 rating. It held up well airing without Empire, so it can hold its own.

4. Son of Zorn - Could Go Either Way

Son of zorn could go either way
Son of Zorn is currently the fourth highest rated show on Fox, but we'll need some more data before moving it to "Likely Renewal." It is averaging 3.7 million viewers and a 1.5 rating. The show has lost a lot of steam in recent weeks.

5. Family Guy - Certain Renewal

Family guy certain renewal
Family Guy has been rock solid this year for Fox. It is currently averaging 3.1 million viewers and a 1.5 rating. The show gets a decent bump in delayed viewing.

6. Bob's Burgers - Renewed

Could Fox really say goodbye to Scream Queens, The Exorcist and Pitch?

All three are not performing well in the ratings. Scream Queens comes from Ryan Murphy, so he probably has a lot of pull with the network. However, it's hard to imagine the show returning with ratings continuing to dive.

Pitch started fairly low and the ratings have got worse by the week. Fox has a lot of mid-season shows on the roster and they could do better.

The Exorcist is slipping, but is performing fairly well when you consider it is surging with the DVR ratings factored in. The fate of the series will probably depend on how Sleepy Hollow and Rosewood perform on Friday nights come mid-season.

It's worth noting, when considering these figures, that Fox is currently averaging a 1.30 rating among adults 18-49 with original programming.

If you want to see how the other networks are stacking up, we have separate posts for The CW, ABC, NBC and CBS.
